To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age.
PRICING
The prices quoted on the web site are the prices that we will honour.
Should the price quoted on your invoice be lower than the amount deducted from your credit card - if you make contact with sales@PilotShop.ie within 14 days of the date of the invoice with all relevant documentation then your credit card will be immediately credited with the difference. And you will receive a wholesome apology from us for any inconvenience caused.
SHIPPING
It is almost impossible to calculate the exact shipping charges at the time of order. We charge a small fixed fee (currently €7 for Republic of Ireland shipping). By and large, this is less than the actual cost of chipping and in a very small number of instances it is higher.
For subscriptions, the shipping charge is included with the annual subscription.
VAT
As this shop is based in the Republic of Ireland, and specifically geared to the needs of Irish based pilots, all VAT is charged at the VAT rate currently in force within the Republic of Ireland. Books and such materials are exempt of VAT. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are shown exclusive of VAT.
PAYMENTS:
All shipments are based on advanced payments either by a credit card or sending cash/cheque prior to despatch.
NOT IN STOCK
Should your order include any items that are not in stock and should we not be able to source those items within a reasonable time, then you will be given the option of cancelling that portion of the order that we are unable to deliver or the entire order.
CREDIT CARD CHARGE
Your credit card will only be debited once we have despatched the products to you. You will not be charged for any items that we have not shipped.
PRODUCT SUITABILITY
When you order a product, there is a presumption that you know what you are buying and that you have already made whatever advance research that is required to satisfy yourself that the prouct you have ordered is suitable to your needs. We do not ship any products on 'approval' or trial.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
While goods are normally delivered within 7 days, this cannot be guaranteed. Sometimes we are not in a position to deliver due to unavailability of stock. In these cases you will be given the opportunity of taking a later delivery or cancelling your order.
PRODUCT RETURNS
Should any product prove to be defective when you receive it or become defective (not due to normal wear and tear) within a reasonable time, then the product may be returned to us and either a replacement will be shipped or you may opt for a full refund of the price of the product (costs of shipping of the initial product or the cost to you of returning the product are not refundable). There is currently a €15 restocking charge.
LIABILITY
Once the purchased product leaves our premises, it is considered to be 'shipped' and becomes the ownership of the purchaser and the responsibility of the purchaser. For high value items you should consider purchasing insurance to cover the delivery of the product as any damage or loss while in transit is your responsibility.
